Welcome to our Year 11 webpage. This contains useful information for parents and students to use as we countdown to the summer examinations. Please use the resources to supplement your work in school and help you prepare for your upcoming mock examinations as well as your final examinations in the summer.
Summer 2026 Public Examinations
As we move into this period, students are still expected to be in school 100% of the time and additional structured revision lessons will be scheduled around the exam timetable:
When a student is not in a revision lesson, they are expected to attend their normal timetabled lesson.
These sessions are designed to support students who need time to do any catch up on work as well as provide them with some additional revision time.
After School Intervention 2025/26
Stepping into Year 11 - You will be given revision guides and advice at the Year 10 Information Evening. The stepping into year 11 documents will help students transition into year 11 in English, Maths and Science. Each document contains links to useful websites as well as how you can use your revision guides you have received to ensure you are fully prepared when starting back in September. Also, each subject is running a summer project, with the student who produces the best work receiving a prize.
Stepping into Year 11 English Literature
The countdown documents from each subject give students and parents a breakdown of what students will be covering in lessons as we build up to the November mock examinations. If any lessons are missed, this will be helpful to show what needs to be caught up on. Each countdown document also has links to revision aids to help you prepare for the mock examinations.
English Language and Literature
Knowledge organisers are useful revision tools to help students reflect on what they need to know for the exam. Please refer to the folders for each subject you study.
Following on from your Positively You sessions, please find the QR code which will take you to the Positively You learning hub. Please use the login details to access useful revision tips that build on the information shared with you in your workshops.
